Here's one of those effortless items you can add to your home; you can even choose the exact color you might want to go with it! The craft is simple: homemade soap bottles. All you will need is an Atlas Mason jar with a two piece screw-on lid (the type where there's a circle piece that fits on the tips of the Mason jar and a screw-on piece that goes over the circle piece), your choice color paint (you will be painting the Mason jar lid), paint brush, old magazines or newspapers (so paint doesn't get on the tabletop or whatever you are working on), hammer, nail, scissors (you might not need scissors, but you might want to have them just in case) and a soap bottle top. Now just follow the steps to make your soap bottle:

1. Lay down the old magazines or newspapers on your crafting surface. Paint the circle piece and the screw-on piece of the lid with the color you desire on top of the old newspapers or magazines.

2. Let the paint dry; put both pieces of the lid on the Mason jar and use the hammer to nail a hole big enough for the soap bottle top to fit through in the middle of the lid. While you are nailing a hole big enough, you might need the scissors to pull back some of the metal that is only attached by the edge of of the hole you are making. This is hard to explain, so you might want to use the picture below.

Nailing a hole Using scissors to bend the metal
down from the hole made with the nail

3. Place the soap bottle top through the hole, hot-gluing it to the Mason jar lid.

4. Unscrew the lid from the jar and fill the jar with hand soap. For extra decorations, you could put a ribbon around the lid when you screw it back on. Now you have completed your Homemade soap bottle!
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
6 tbs. coco
2 eggs
2/3 cup self rising flour
How to make it:
Put butter in a medium pan. Bring to a boil at medium high. When butter is boiling, stir in the sugar and coco. Turn the stove off and stir in the eggs and flour. Stir in well until you have gooey, dark liquid type stuff. Pour into a greased 8x8 pan. Put in oven at 350 degrees for 23-25 minuets. You can also make Brownie muffins using the same recipe, but instead of using a pan, use a muffin pan that will make 12 Brownie muffins.
Lottie Moon was a missionary to China. While she was in China, she hosted small tea parties for girls. She made special, soft sugar cookies for them at her tea parties. Here is the recipe she used to make her cookies:
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup of sugar
1/2 cup of sour milk*
1 egg + 1 egg white, beaten
1/2 cup butter
4 cups of flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
*Take 2 teaspoons of vinegar, then add milk to make 1/2 cup.
How to make it:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cream butter and sugar, then add milk and eggs. Stir in flour to make a gooey dough. Lay dough on floured surface. Cut cookies 1/2 inch thin in circles or other shapes.
What you Need:
1. A sheet of Wax paper
2. Snow Flake coloring sheet (It's best if you get a coloring sheet with many small, different Snowflakes on it)
3. Fabric Glitter Glue

How to make it:
1. Take your coloring sheet and put it under your Wax paper.
2. Take the fabric glue and trace the snowflakes with it.
3. Remove the coloring sheet out from under the wax paper carefully.
4. Let the snowflakes on the wax paper dry over night or about 4-5 hours in the day. When Snowflakes are completely dry, carefully peel them off the wax paper and stick them to your window (Make sure your window is clean first).

Here are some snow flakes you can trace with the fabric glitter glue. I found this from the Free Coloring Page Site on Google. This is the website, in case you wanted different coloring pages to trace: http://freecoloringpagesite.com.
